Photographers of all countries of the world are invited to participate. Theme of the exhibition is free. The works have to fully reflect the specifics of each country - national coloring, traditions, ethnical features, history, landscapes, people, events, architectural monuments, etc. The qualifying contest consists of two sections: panoramic photo and traditional format photo. Participants of the salon will be selected by the jury consisting of: Vasyl Helevachuk (NSFHU, Kryvyi Rih), Volodymyr Ohloblin (NSFHU, Kharkiv), Krzysztof Strzoda (Katowice, Poland), Pavlo Tarasov ("Kyivskyi fotoiarmarok", Kyiv), Stephan Tot (AFIAP, Oradea, Romania). The award ceremony will take place during the Kyiv Photo Fair on May 24, 2012.
Krzysztof Strzoda works in photography for more than 20 years. At first he duplicated black and white photos, and then became an amateur photographer who filmed his travels. His photos are always related to the places where he travels: mountains, sea, cities, etc. Most often he shoots landscapes, trying to convey the atmosphere of the place or surrounding, making accent on weather. His photos often feature winter, mist, rain, clouds. His works are exhibited in the galleries throughout the world and printed in magazines.
