The second International Book Festival “Book Space” will take place in Dnipro on June 21-23. Among this year's visitors there will be Marcin Skrabka, Polish expert in gamification of reading.


Marcin Skrabka is the founder of the “Good Books Consulting” company that helps publishers, librarians, authors and other people in the field of publishing and education to improve their results by using new technologies actively and efficiently.

How can one use the potential of gaming in practice and captivate youth with their creativity? The Y and Z generations throw down a challenge – are you ready to accept it?

The lecture will be interesting for activists, librarians, teachers, publishers, authors, and culture animators.

Workshop “How to turn a book into a Pokemon Go-like game? Gamification of literature in practice”

To continue the lecture on gamification as a way to attract the Y and Z generation audience to reading, the Polish visitors will conduct a workshop in which they will turn a piece of a work of fiction into a game together with everyone interested. Attention! The number of participants is limited. To participate in the workshop, you will need a laptop and a smartphone.
